Joseph A. Davies

Joe was born in Pittsburgh, and grew up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. After earning a B.A. in History and Political Science from the University of Richmond, Joe received his J.D. from Duke University. Joe practiced in the litigation group of Dow Lohnes in Washington D.C., before returning to North Carolina in 2007. After five years with a commercial litigation boutique in Charlotte, Joe returned to the Triangle and joined the firm in 2012. Joe’s practice focuses on construction law, landlord-tenant disputes, business and shareholder disputes, and employment matters. Joe practices throughout the state trial and appellate courts of North Carolina, and is also admitted to each of the Federal District Courts in North Carolina. Joe is also admitted in Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia, although he is currently inactive in both jurisdictions.

Undergraduate: University of Richmond Year: 2000 Degree: Bachelor of Arts in History & Political Science, magna cum laude
