Meet Our 2025 Super Lawyers:

• James R. Vann – A founding partner of Vann Attorneys, James focuses his practice on business law, creditors’ rights, construction law, estate planning, civil litigation, contracts, and employment-related claims. He represents businesses of all sizes, assisting with commercial transactions, contract disputes, collections, and risk management. James also advises clients on business planning and regulatory compliance, helping them navigate legal challenges with a strategic approach.

• J.D. Hensarling – J.D. represents families in daycare-related injury and abuse cases, helping parents seek justice when their children have been harmed. J.D. also focuses on his growing mediation practice, assisting businesses and individuals in resolving disputes efficiently. In addition, he represents clients in business litigation and commercial disputes, including shareholder and partnership disputes, fraud, business court cases, and employment-related matters. J.D. also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Campbell Law School, teaching Pretrial Litigation.

• Ian S. Richardson – Ian represents clients in personal injury cases, including car accidents and child sex abuse cases, providing strong advocacy for individuals and families. He also handles Business Court and Superior Court cases, assisting clients with business litigation, commercial disputes, and business divorce matters. Ian is dedicated to helping his clients navigate complex disputes with a focused and strategic approach.

• Caitlin S. Truelove (Rising Star) – Caitlin’s practice includes business and civil litigation, as well as construction law. She works with commercial subcontractors, large residential subcontractors, and smaller commercial contractors, helping them resolve disputes and navigate compliance issues. Her selection as a Super Lawyers Rising Star highlights her commitment to serving her clients and her growing reputation in the legal community.
