J.D. Hensarling

J.D. Hensarling is an experienced litigator and mediator whose practice includes business litigation, commercial disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes, construction matters, employment-related claims, and other complex civil litigation.

J.D. also maintains an active mediation practice, helping businesses and individuals resolve disputes efficiently and effectively. In addition to his legal practice, he serves as an Adjunct Professor at Campbell University School of Law, where he teaches Pretrial Litigation.

His experience, judgment, and dedication to serving both clients and colleagues have made him an important part of the continued growth of Vann Attorneys.

Ian S. Richardson

Ian S. Richardson represents businesses and individuals in a broad range of civil matters, including business litigation, commercial disputes, construction law, contracts, Business Court matters, appellate matters, employment-related claims, and serious personal injury cases.

Ian approaches each matter with a focus on understanding the client’s goals and developing a practical strategy for achieving them. He is actively involved in his church and community and serves on the Designed for Joy Board of Advisors.

His commitment to preparation, advocacy, and client service has established him as a trusted attorney and leader within the firm.

The addition of J.D. and Ian to the partnership strengthens Vann Attorneys’ leadership team as the firm continues to grow and serve clients throughout North Carolina and beyond.
